Executive Opportunity

Located near Athens, Georgia this opportunity is differentiated by three factors: (1) it is a full Division President role with responsibility for all functions, complete P&L ownership, and both strategic and operational leadership accountability; (2) there are significant opportunities to grow the Granite Division both organically and through acquisition beyond its current scale; and (3) the successful leader will have the opportunity to lead an entrepreneurial, market-leading business within Matthews Memorialization while leveraging the resources and support of a larger public company.

• Accomplished President, General Manager, Division Leader, or Business Unit Executive with significant P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading manufacturing and distribution operations
• Experience driving growth through sales and marketing leadership in a B2B environment
• Track record of delivering profitable growth through both commercial and operational leadership.
• Experience integrating strategy, execution, and people leadership to achieve transformational business results.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both entrepreneurial and public-company environments.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
• 15+ years progressive business management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
• Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
