Job Description :

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting key accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, production, and operations. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients, ensuring prompt resolution of billing and payment issues for timely revenue collection. Proficiency in the accounting and rental software is essential for managing payables, receivables, and client invoicing accurately and efficiently.

Position Type :

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Essential Job Functions :

• Generate and distribute invoices for all sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process incoming vendor invoices across multiple entities, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Prepare detailed check run documentation for sub-rental payments and other A/P.
• Verify and obtain required approvals and supporting documents for accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and related correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of 1099 forms and related documentation.
• Research and compile accurate records and reports for financial audits and film tax credit audits.
• Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries related to account activity.
• Monitor A/R aging and perform regular follow-ups to support collection efforts.
• Develop and manage billing schedules for multi-asset or complex sales orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of sub-rental invoices to meet check run deadlines.
• Adhere to internal accounting policies and procedures to help safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
• Scan and file financial documents to maintain accurate historical records.
• Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Competencies and Experience :

• Deliver optimal service to internal and external customers.
• Possess strong documentation skills as well as attention to detail.
• Solid NetSuite (or similar ERP platform) knowledge/experience.
• Familiar with Bill.com Software and Rental Tracker Software.
• Highly productive, with a sense of the importance of quality and accuracy.
• Multi-tasking and detailed oriented a must.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams & Outlook).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and yet be compatible within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or minimum of 3 years’ experience in general or specialized accounting functions.

Work Environment :

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In addition, this job will require an organized office space, including daily filing of documents.
