Quality Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

General Summary: This position is a key member to the power tailgate product and will work on a cross functional team as a quality lead to meet all quality, production other defined business performance targets.

In addition, the quality engineer will act as quality liaison responsible for effective internal and external customer communications, ensuring all requirements.

The person that assumes this role will work closely with the production team to fulfill corporate goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews of production, materials, and processes to identify quality deficiencies, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.

·Monitor and analyze data from quality audits, inspections, and customer feedback to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for preventive action.

·Investigate customer complaints, warranty claims, and product returns, coordinating corrective and preventive actions to address underlying quality issues and prevent recurrence.

· Coordinate actions and follow-up if there is a deviation from the defined objectives and customer targets.

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality -relate issue promptly.

· Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of materials, equipment, and components procured for construction projects.

· Determining roots causes, immediate and permanent corrective actions

Qualifications:

· Bachelor`s degree with engineering background (Industrial engineering preferred)

· Automotive Industry experience preferred.

· Excellent Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 quality systems

Preferred Skills:

Certification in quality management (ISO / IATF/ VDA/ 5-STAR / SQ)

Experience with quality control software & Tool (Minitab) & QMS
