Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for our clients and ensuring that all appointments are accurately recorded in our system. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

- Schedule appointments for clients using our scheduling software

- Communicate with clients to confirm appointment details and gather necessary information

- Enter and update appointment information in our system accurately

- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth scheduling process

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

- Keep track of appointment cancellations and make necessary adjustments to the schedule

- Follow up with clients to ensure they are aware of their upcoming appointments

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a medical scheduler or in a similar role

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong understanding of medical terminology

- Proficient in using scheduling software

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Detail-oriented and highly organized

- Comfortable working in a remote setting

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

- Availability to work part-time hours (20-25 hours per week)

Contract Details:

This is a part-time, remote position. The Remote Medical Scheduler will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week. The contract duration is negotiable and may vary depending on business needs.
