Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Atlanta Mechanical Contractor
A leading Atlanta mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial HVAC, piping, and plumbing construction projects throughout the Atlanta metro area.

This confidential opportunity is ideal for a results-driven construction professional with strong experience managing mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout , including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from planning through completion
• Oversee HVAC systems, mechanical piping, and plumbing installation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial tracking
• Direct estimating efforts including takeoffs, subcontractor buyouts, and bid reviews
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and design teams
• Maintain project schedules and ensure on-time delivery
• Enforce safety standards and quality control measures
• Mentor and lead project engineers and field teams
• Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong background in commercial HVAC and piping systems
• Experience managing projects in the $5M–$40M range
• Proven success managing project financials and change orders
• Experience with mechanical estimating and cost tracking
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar construction management software
