VASCULAR TECH III ER Day shift

Qualifications 2 year / Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology/ Sonography (Required) In lieu of an Associates Degree; a Minimum of 4 years additional relevant experience is acceptable & nbsp Work Experience 4 - 5 years Cardiovascular Ultrasound & nbsp (Required) Licenses and Certifications Required Certifications/Licensures: Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Adult Echo or Pediatric Echo or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) & nbsp Essential Functions

TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT USE:

Demonstrates technical skill in using equipment appropriate for role. Understands equipment operation. Maintains equipment in working order. Troubleshoots equipment problems. Uses technology to increase productivity. Adapts to new technology ABLE TO PERFORM ADULT ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY/ VASCULAR ULTRASOUND EXAMS: Perform required exams without supervision that meet quality standards of the lab and interpreting physicians. Act as a resource in area of expertise. Provide leadership and training opportunities to department through department stand ups and on the job training. Adult Echo/ Pediatric Echo/ Adult Vascular Exams. TEE Echocardiography. Assist OR with ultrasound guided procedures. Perform Pediatric Echocardiography as required.

Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time. Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills. Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
