Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and grow our mechanical engineering team in Atlanta, GA . In this role, you’ll manage project execution, mentor and build a team of engineers, and engage in business development and client relationship building. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC and plumbing design for a variety of building types

• Manage and mentor a growing team of mechanical engineers

• Provide technical direction and oversight across project phases

• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants

• Participate in business development, proposal writing, and client engagement

• Offer construction support and consulting during project delivery

• Contribute to firm-wide strategic growth initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required

• 10+ years of consulting experience in the AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on HVAC and plumbing design experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Business development experience is preferred

• Active industry involvement is a plus
