Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for children with diverse needs under the direction of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts. Duties and Responsibilities: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. - Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with varying abilities. - Collect and record data on client progress and behavior. - Assist with skill acquisition, including communication, social, and daily living skills. - Support clients in community outings and social interactions. - Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans. - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients. - Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in special education, ABA, Psychology, or related field preferred. - Active RBT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. - 2+ years RBT experience preferred but not required. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license, current automobile registration and insurance. - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to follow directions and implement plans accurately. - Compassion, patience, and adaptability. Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Regularly required to talk, hear, use hands or fingers. - Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 25 pounds. - Work environment is typically low to moderate noise. Dress Code: - RBTs must wear black scrubs as part of a mandatory dress code and maintain hygienic practices. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· - Session fidelity rate ≥ 90%
· - Data collection accuracy ≥ 95%
· - Timely session note submission within 24 hours
· - Complete monthly supervision sessions as required

E – Experience: Applies previous work with dysregulated or trauma-impacted children to support emotional safety.

S – Skills: Implements co-regulation, models coping skills, and maintains client trust in challenging situations.
