Position: ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.

• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Monitor and document patient vitals during surgical procedures.

• Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Utilize data and metrics to assess and enhance surgical outcomes.

• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.

• Evaluate and suggest improvements for surgical processes and workflows.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new surgical tech staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist, preferably CST certified.

• Eagerness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Experience in surgical settings, assisting in various surgical procedures.

• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and healthcare teams.

• Experience with performance reviews and setting personal development goals.

• Ability to utilize data for assessing and enhancing surgical outcomes.

• Proficient in monitoring and documenting patient vitals during procedures.

• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate surgical records.

• Willingness to assist in training and orienting new surgical tech staff.
