Our client is a General Contractor needing an experienced Estimator with commercial construction experience in Roswell, GA.
Job Responsibilities:
- The responsibilities involve reading project specifications
- Discussing bid strategies, defining subcontractors, and coordinating bid solicitations
- Setting up bid summaries and spreadsheets, pricing self-performed and subcontracted work, and improving subcontractor relationships
- Tracking Value Analysis items and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- 2-7 years experience as a commercial construction estimator,
- Familiarity with standard construction practices, procedures, and technology required.
- Creativity, leadership abilities, and proficiency in Timberline, OST, and Microsoft Office are essential.
- Experience obtaining sub-coverage, self-performance of concrete and carpentry, and training estimators is preferred.
