Role Summary

As a Senior ServiceNow Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions. You will be responsible for architecting and configuring the ServiceNow platform, developing custom applications, and ensuring efficient and effective IT service delivery. This role will be located in Atlanta, GA and report to our Sr. ManagerServiceNow Platform


Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow Architecture and Configuration: Design and architect ServiceNow ITSM solutions based on business requirements. Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet specific needs, including workflow design, data model configuration, UI customization, and integration with other systems.
  • Application Development: Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using scripting and coding languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide API. Implement customizations, enhancements, and new functionalities to meet business requirements.
  • ServiceNow Platform Administration: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including managing user roles, access controls, and system configurations. Ensure the platform is properly maintained, updated, and optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Agile Development: Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within the defined timelines.
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement within the ITSM framework. Leverage ServiceNow's automation capabilities, such as workflow automation, orchestration, and integration, to streamline IT service delivery processes.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership in ServiceNow architecture, development, and best practices. Collaborate with other technical teams and stakeholders to ensure effective integration and alignment of ServiceNow with other systems and processes.
  • Solution Design and Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution designs, and document technical specifications. Create detailed architectural diagrams, process flows, and system documentation to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and execute test plans and strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow solutions. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, performance optimization, and enhanced user experience. Proactively propose and implement improvements to existing ServiceNow implementations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in ServiceNow platform administration, implementation, and application development.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
  • Excellent coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow platform configurations, workflows, and UI customization.
  • Experience with ServiceNow app development, including creating custom applications and modules.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Automation skills and familiarity with ServiceNow Orchestration, Workflow Automation, and Integration Hub.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Certified Application Developer (CAD), are highly desirable.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range: USD - $98,500 - $123,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).


Benefits Summary:
Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
