About The Position

We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for a 53-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, beginning Sep 19, 2025. This critical role involves 24-hour call shifts, ranging from 3 to 10 days, with responsibilities including rounding on patients and managing emergency neurosurgical cases. The successful candidate will utilize the Meditech EHR system, ensuring continuity of care in a demanding but highly rewarding environment.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide neurosurgical care during assigned call periods
• Perform surgical interventions for acute neurological conditions
• Manage patient care from admission to discharge
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech EHR for documenting patient care and procedures

Additional Information

• Must be board certified in Neurological Surgery
• Valid Georgia medical license required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
