Job Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and procedures on job sites.- Carry tools and materials to and from the work area.- Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations.- Measure and cut pipes and ductwork to specified dimensions.- Help in the assembly and installation of HVAC components and systems.- Follow blueprints or technical drawings under supervision.- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.- Support in troubleshooting installation issues as directed.- Participate in on-the-job training sessions to enhance technical skills.- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.- Assist in the testing of installed HVAC systems for proper operation.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and materials.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.- Good communication and problem-solving skills.- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in HVAC installation.- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Apprentice level pay range is 15-18, mechanic level is 18-24.

Compensation details: 16-19 Hourly Wage
