The Role

I am seeking a Technical Co-Founder (CTO) to join StandardBuild at the ground floor. This is an equity-only role until we generate revenue from our MVP or close our first funding round.

Youll be the technical leader and partner, working side by side with me to architect and build our MVP , validate technical assumptions, and lay the foundation for a scalable product.

What Youll Do

• Architect, design, and build the MVP that streamlines pre-development decision-making for builders.
• Integrate data sources (zoning, permitting, land use, GIS) into an intelligent, queryable system.
• Lead technical strategy and make key build-vs-buy decisions.
• Collaborate on product direction, roadmap, and execution.
• Hire and lead a world-class engineering team as we scale.

Who You Are

• A full-stack engineer with strong product sense who ships quickly and thoughtfully.
• Experience with geospatial data, property tech, or ML is a big plus.
• Comfortable in true zero-to-one: scrappy, resourceful, execution-driven.
• Excited to be a real co-founder with shared ownership and upside.
• Remote is fine initially; willing to relocate as we scale.
