Tool Room Technician (Oglethorpe, GA) Austin Industrial (TA)

Tool Room Attendant

This person will perform a combination of tasks to check out track receive inspect repair and store various tools and duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checks out tools upon proper request.
• Completes requisite paperwork and makes necessary computer entries if any to effectively track tools.
• Reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisitions to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.
• Assorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type style or color.
• Inspects tools upon return tags faulty tools and sends to repair area for evaluation.
• Restock returned tools that do not require maintenance or repair to their proper location.
• Performs minor repairs or maintenance on tools and routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area.
• Upon proper request distributes disposable products such as cleaning fluids paint and other like products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education : no minimum education requirements.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Must pass pre-employment physical as condition of employment.
