Job Description

The Assembler reads technical drawings and electrical schematics to build and electrically assemble equipment such as power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products. This role combines electrical and minor mechanical assembly, careful inspection of parts, and the creation of custom wiring based on detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, CAD models, part drawings, and bills of material to assemble complete products and subassemblies to specification.
• Assemble power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products according to documented requirements.
• Interpret standard documentation and techniques and apply them to custom applications based on existing products.
• Create point-to-point control and power wiring based on schematics, including crimping, soldering, and building wiring harnesses.
• Perform electrical assembly of new variants of existing products, including minor mechanical assembly tasks as required.
• Apply best practices for electro-static discharge handling when required to protect sensitive components.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for flaws, imperfections, and overall quality to ensure they meet specifications.
• Identify and report any missing parts or components in assemblies to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Use tape measures, hand tools, and portable power tools such as drills and impact drivers safely and effectively during assembly.
• Work within a manufacturing environment to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suwanee, GA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
