Area Vice President, Sales
The Area Vice President is responsible for accelerating the growth of a highly effective sales team by leveraging best practices, selling strengths and teamwork to drive over-achievement. Responsible for establishing sales strategies in area of responsibility to over-achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. Responsible for penetrating underserved clinical markets and the full development of payer opportunities across the Area. Collaborate with the SVP Sales in the development of underperforming Regions and the formulation of company wide sales compensation, best practices and training programs. Manage all expenses to under budget performance. Ensure that field representatives are compliant with all appropriate regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
*Must be located or willing to relocate within the Mideast Area*
- Recruit, hire, train and lead a team of field representatives and managers in attaining company goals in the area of assigned responsibility
- Establish sales strategies to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals across all 4 distribution channels (call points)
- Open up the full potential of all territories by securing INN status with key payers in underserved areas
- Develop a network of KOLs that will further our payer goals and ensure the retention of the business in the area assigned
- Assist with developing and on-going review of sales team compensation and training programs
- Assist with the development of other managers where directed and the overall Team
- Manage expenses within budget and admin items in timely fashion
- Collaborate with the team to establish clear, challenging performance goals and metrics for the year
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience
- 5+ years medical industry and “in channel” sales management experience
- 5-10 years’ experience in sales management, ideally in a fast growth environment
- Ability to travel up to 70 percent
Preferred:
- Direct management of people leaders

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.: $220,000 - $273,000 Additional benefits:: exempt-sales - This position is also eligible for sales incentive plan. Our total compensation package includes medical, dental and vision benefits, retirement benefits, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, parental leave, family medical leave, volunteer time off and additional leave programs, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits and discounts. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contributions, and other requirements and conditions.
