Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation- Medication reminders and assist with medication management- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary- Perform light housekeeping tasks- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Compassionate and patient demeanor- Ability to follow instructions and work independently- Reliable transportation to travel to client's location

Pay: $27,000.00 - $43,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
