Admissions Coordinator

Samba Recovery at Peachtree is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in our Norcross, GA office. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to phone, email, and online inquiries regarding treatment services.

• Conduct confidential pre-screening assessments to determine eligibility and level of care for our PHP, IOP, and OP levels of care..

• Provide accurate information about program services, policies, and expectations.

• Build rapport with prospective clients and families using trauma-informed and motivational communication techniques.

• Schedule intake assessments and coordinate admission dates.

• Gather demographic, clinical, and psychosocial information.

• Complete intake documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., HIPAA, state regulations, CARF/Joint Commission if applicable).

• Ensure all required consent forms and releases are completed prior to admission.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).

• Explain financial responsibilities, payment plans, and coverage limitations.

• Coordinate with billing staff to ensure accurate documentation of benefits.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, high-energy attitude
• Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
• Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• High school diploma

Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18.00 to 20.00 hourly based on experience
