Board Maker
Summary: The Board Maker is responsible for fabricating product sample boards using materials such as mosaic tile, porcelain, ledger panels, wood, and LVT. Key duties include measuring and cutting materials, assembling layouts on MDF substrates, applying adhesives and grout, and ensuring all finished samples meet quality standards.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 06:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19 to $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $58,000 and $67,200 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Cut MDF substrates and raw materials to specified dimensions and requirements.
- Assemble and fabricate product sample boards according to design and layout specifications.
- Operate wet saws, wood saws, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Interpret measurements, drawings, and layout specifications accurately.
- Maintain established quality, safety, and production standards throughout the fabrication process.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of tablets, iPads, and other mobile devices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
