If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Payments \u0026 Banking (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).\n\nSenior Data Engineer \u2013 Payments \u0026 Banking\n\nLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid \u2013 3 days/week mandatory in office)\n\n* * *\n\nJob Responsibilities Include: \n\n * Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines supporting payment processing, card transactions, billing, and banking systems\n * Build and automate ETL/ELT workflows for ingestion, transformation, aggregation, and loading of high-volume financial data\n * Develop and support Kafka integrations, including topics, producers, consumers, and streaming applications for near real-time transaction processing\n * Develop and optimize cloud-native data solutions in Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Event Hubs\n * Build and manage enterprise data platforms using Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, clustering, and secure data sharing\n * Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL for ingestion, transformation, validation, and aggregation of high-volume financial data\n * Translate payment and banking data requirements into functional specifications, mapping documents, and technical designs\n * Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance (including PCI-DSS and financial regulatory requirements)\n * Optimize SQL queries and tune RDBMS performance for high-throughput transactional environments\n * Design and maintain enterprise microservices (security, logging, APIs) using Java/Spring Boot where applicable\n * Monitor data pipeline performance and implement optimization and corrective actions\n * Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and compliance teams in an Agile environment\n * Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across data platforms and transaction systems\n * Work on-site 3 days per week to support collaboration, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\n * Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehouse environments\n * Minimum 5+ years of strong experience designing, building, and maintaining batch and real-time data pipelines\n * 5+ years of proven experience in the payments, banking, or financial services industry, supporting transaction-based systems\n * 5+ years of strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization\n * Minimum 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, Teradata, SQL Server\n * 5+ years of experience with Kafka or streaming platforms\n * Minimum 5+ years of strong programming skills in Java and/or Python\n * Minimum 5+ years of experience developing API integrations with cloud or enterprise systems\n * Minimum 5+ years of experience with Unix Shell scripting\n * Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nPreferred Skills;\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field\n * Hands-on experience with any ETL/ELT tool \n * Understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL frameworks\n * Experience supporting PCI-DSS compliant environments\n * Experience handling large structured and unstructured datasets\n * Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices\n * Prior experience working on high-volume payment gateways or banking transaction platforms\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nWhat We\u2019re Looking For\n\n * A strong Data Engineer who understands transactional data systems and financial data flows\n * Someone comfortable working in regulated, security-sensitive banking environments\n * A problem solver who can optimize high-volume systems and ensure data integrity\n * A collaborative team player who can clearly communicate complex technical concepts\n\n\n\n#INDFSINS\n\n#L1-NorthAmerica\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
