Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs throughout the school year. This role involves creating individualized education plans, adapting curriculum, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting instructional methods as necessary
• Managing classroom behavior and creating a supportive learning atmosphere
• Providing interventions and acmodations to meet state and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience working with high school students with special needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and special education laws
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills
• Patience, creativity, and a mitment to student success
