Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the cath lab under the direction of the Site Manager, performing a wide range of procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
- Prepare the cath lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures; assist physicians with equipment handling and tool exchange; maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
- Monitor patients during procedures, including vital signs and hemodynamic data; operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment as needed.
- Document procedures, medications administered, and patient responses; participate in post-procedure care and patient stabilization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, technologists, and nursing staff, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment.
