education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately select, sort, and pick grocery items (produce, dairy, frozen, etc.) from warehouse locations based on digital pick lists or voice commands.
- Pallet Building: Stack items securely on pallets, ensuring stability for transport and visibility of product identification, often building mixed-temperature pallets.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners to move products and manage inventory.
- Quality & Accuracy: Verify selected items against orders, check for damages, and ensure proper rotation (FIFO) and sanitation standards.
- Staging & Loading: Place completed pallets in designated dock areas for loading onto trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining organized work areas.
- Safety & Sanitation: Follow all food safety (HACCP), OSHA, and company safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and keep the workspace clean.
