Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job
Speech Language Pathologist — Acute care in an inpatient setting, Cumming, Georgia. Start date: 04/20/2026. 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This role supports a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses in an acute care setting, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive concerns. - Pay: $1,784–$1,860 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

- Work setting: inpatient acute care, wide medical/surgical coverage Responsibilities
- Conduct objective speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallow evaluations for acute care patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Provide dysphagia management and bedside swallow evaluations; collaborate with nursing, dietitians, and physicians.
- Document services accurately in patient records; participate in rounds and care conferences; communicate treatment plans with the care team.
- Support discharge planning and caregiver/family education regarding communication and swallowing strategies. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist within the specialty.
- Prior acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an inpatient, fast-paced clinical setting.
- MBS/FEES proficiency would be a plus but is not required.
