We are seeking a Head of Architecture to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural direction and strategy of our projects, providing leadership and guidance to the architectural team. The role demands a blend of technical, hands-on capability and leading a team of architects and designers. The ideal candidate should be a Registered Architect, with a strong background in Architecture Design, AutoCAD, and Revit. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural department, ensuring high-quality design and project delivery.
• Develop and implement design and construction standards, ensuring all projects adhere to these.
• Oversee all architectural projects, from conception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and project priorities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements, integrating these into our architectural strategy.
• Develop and present design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Manage the preparation of architectural plans using CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.
• Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Registered Architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an architectural department.
• Proficient in Architecture Design, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of CAD and other design software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of building codes, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to a range of audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and overcome challenges.
• A passion for architecture and design, with a continuous desire to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
