Shipping and Receiving Associate

Local cartersville company looking to hire a shipping and receiving candidate for their team. This position is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm or 7:30am-3:30pm. This position is getting on and off the forklift, pulling orders, stage pallets for shipments, match and verify orders and tickets, etc. You must have forklift experience. This position starts at $16.50/hour and goes up when you go permanent. Must have a resume, able to pass drug screen and background check. Responsibilities

-Operates forklift.
-Does daily checklist for forklift.
-Unloads raw materials such as boxes, cores, fleece and pallets.
-Pulls orders from inventory and prepares them for shipment.
-Match/verify what is pulled with what is on the customer order, including checking part
numbers, packaging and replace any damaged boxes, re-tape or re-label as needed.
-Stage pallets for shipments.
-Load trucks as they arrive to pick up orders for customer destination(s).
-Make sure the warehouse is clean and organized.
-Keep inventory organized.
-Interprets company safety rules for the shipping warehouse.
-Other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:
