Senior Project Architect

Overview: Senior Project Architect with a min of 6 to 10 years of experience using Revit and other related software to aid in the design and production of residential and commercial building projects under the supervision of a Registered Architect.

Location: Athens, GA

Type: Full-time/ Fully remote allowing employees to work from a professional home office within the state of Georgia less than 1h drive from the firm's office.

: This position of Senior Project Architect requires a min of 6 to 10 years of experience using Revit in the design and production of commercial buildings and some high-end residential projects. This role will provide opportunities to get involved in a broad spectrum of designs and will have a focus on multi-disciplinary growth within the building field. The select individual will work under a licensed registered architect aiding in design and 3D modeling with opportunities to grow in both knowledge and in a collaborative design approach. Tasks: Revit drafting, specifications, code review and analysis, selecting materials and finishes, scheduling, in office client meetings, on site visits and other related tasks.

Project types: Office spaces, Restaurants, Multi-family, Retail, Hospitality, Educational, Ecclesiastical, High-end Residential, and more within the building field.

Remote Work Description: *the firm will not hire employees outside of the state of Georgia or greater than 1h drive from the firm's office.* As this position is fully remote the selected individual will be expected to perform the duties of designing and drafting using Revit from a home office . Daily scheduled meetings will be held remotely via platforms such as “Microsoft Teams” where plans will be discussed, and screen sharing will be expected. On camera video calls in professional attire without blurred backgrounds will be a daily occurrence many times through out the day. Individuals will be available via email, text, phone call or “Teams” during working hours. Our office will serve, as it does for all our employees, as a “check in, check out” hub, as well as a space for trainings, collaborative teamwork, and client meetings. Office and site visits WILL be necessary occasionally.

Personal time management is a HIGHLY valued skill as individuals must be able to complete work by the given deadlines. Outstanding communication skills both written and oral are a must to thrive in our fully remote team. As this is an out of office position, self-discipline and self-motivation are key.

Qualification:

- 6 to 10 years of experience min

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required

- Masters degree in Architecture is a plus

- RA licensed is a plus

- Revit experience required

- AutoCAD experience required

- Photoshop / Illustrator experience required

- Rendering experience required

- Remote work experience is a plus

- Driver's license required

- US work authorization required

- Portfolio required
