Data Enablement & Governance Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA or Salt Lake City / Lehi UT
Schedule: Hybrid Onsite (3 days per week)

We’re partnering with a growing organization that is investing heavily in modernizing its enterprise data architecture. This role will be the first dedicated data governance hire , playing a critical role in shaping how data is defined, managed, and trusted across the business.

You’ll be joining at the start of a high-visibility, multi-million dollar transformation initiative, working alongside internal leaders and external partners to establish the foundation for scalable, data-driven decision making.

What You’ll Do

• Stand up and lead foundational data governance capabilities across the enterprise
• Develop and implement a business data glossary and data catalog strategy
• Evaluate and help select data catalog and governance tools
• Define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and workflows
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship models
• Partner cross-functionally with business and technical teams to drive adoption
• Support data literacy efforts across the organization
• Collaborate with third-party consulting partners on broader data initiatives
• Track and communicate governance progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management
• Proven experience building or scaling data governance programs
• Hands-on experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage
• Familiarity with tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or similar
• Experience defining and implementing data quality frameworks and KPIs
• Strong ability to work across business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, etc.) is a plus
