Data Enablement & Governance Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA or Salt Lake City / Lehi UT
Schedule: Hybrid Onsite (3 days per week)
About Opportunity
This is a rare chance to step in early and help build something from the ground up.
We’re partnering with a growing organization that is investing heavily in modernizing its enterprise data architecture. This role will be the first dedicated data governance hire , playing a critical role in shaping how data is defined, managed, and trusted across the business.
You’ll be joining at the start of a high-visibility, multi-million dollar transformation initiative, working alongside internal leaders and external partners to establish the foundation for scalable, data-driven decision making.

- Stand up and lead foundational data governance capabilities across the enterprise
- Develop and implement a business data glossary and data catalog strategy
- Evaluate and help select data catalog and governance tools
- Define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and workflows
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship models
- Partner cross-functionally with business and technical teams to drive adoption
- Support data literacy efforts across the organization
- Collaborate with third-party consulting partners on broader data initiatives
- Track and communicate governance progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management
- Proven experience building or scaling data governance programs
- Hands-on experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage
- Familiarity with tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or similar
- Experience defining and implementing data quality frameworks and KPIs
- Strong ability to work across business and technical stakeholders
- Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, etc.) is a plus
