Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at our facility located in Macon, GA, 31206. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the installation of machines on projects. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Conduct regular installations of machinery and rigging on specific projects. to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant findings to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in millwright or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Millwright and Rigger.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
