Per Diem School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Trion, GA

This position is tailored for Licensed Practical Nurses who are passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social development in a school setting. Working under the guidance of teachers, you will play a critical role in delivering individualized care and assistance that fosters positive growth and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support following teacher guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliance with TB testing per district regulations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team member
