Material Handler (Acworth)
TRC Talent is looking for Material Handler for our client in Acworth, GA!
Job Details:
- 1st Shift: 10am - 6pm
- $18.00/hr (pay increase when hired on)
- Temp to Hire
Job Duties:
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
Package pallets of metal plates and parts using wood, boxes, shrink wrap, and banding to prepare them for shipment by truck.
Forklift experience is preferred, but training will be provided for those willing to learn.
The position can be physically demanding at times, so candidates must be comfortable with this type of work.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Take bundles of 12-foot or longer bar stock and break them down into smaller bundles.
Prepare materials for shipment according to company standards.
Move and stage materials for operators as needed.
Use an RF scanner to move materials and update their locations in the system.
Locate and identify lost materials while also assisting with cycle counts.
Handle large volumes of newly received materials.
Demonstrate computer proficiency to complete daily tasks.
Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
