Partners Professional is currently assisting our client seeking candidates that are experienced as a Project Manager. This position will be on-site at their location in Buford, Ga. The selected Project Manager(PM) will oversee project planning, execution and delivery. If the candidate has worked as a PM in the construction/flooring industry and/or in a ‘big box’ national retail store chain supporting flooring and construction, heavy preference will be given for consideration. This position will be Monday-Friday with hours of 8:00-5:00.

Essential Duties

· Execute the management and progression of projects.

· Set deadlines for project milestones and resolve any issues that arise during the project.

· Coordinate with clients on current programs, future product launches, and special projects. Communicate with clients through face-to-face meetings on a monthly basis.

· Provide detailed reports on future programs and projects to management and staff for effective planning.

· Maintain regular communication with all vendors to understand their needs and determine how can assist them.

· Responsible for introducing new products from inception to completion.

· Collaborate with the Purchasing, Print, Production, Shipping, and IT departments.

· Develop strategies with retail teams to ensure the efficiency required to fulfill orders for their stores, including basic knowledge of our systems.

· Ensure that critical information is always accurate; products listed on Internal platform must have current pictures and up-to-date information.

· Verify that products stored on site are current and match internal and external databases.

· Develop and implement an exit strategy for obsolete items.

· Schedule site visits with clients to review existing programs and gather insights for future projects.

· Establish contact with store operations for products that fall under the specified class or subclass.

Competencies

· Experience in construction is a PLUS, Retail ‘big box’ as well

· Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Excel (advanced), required

You must currently live within a comfortable commuting distance of Buford GA. This position does not have a relocation package attached. It is originally being offered as a contract-to-hire position, however, for an outstanding candidate that may shift to a direct hire process.
