Project Manager
Location : Atlanta, GA | Hybrid; onsite 2-3 days per week
Job Type : Contract (3 months)
Compensation : $60-$75 per hour

Our firm is partnering with a global leader in food production and supply chain operations to hire an experienced Project Manager. This role supports complex operational and technology-related initiatives across a large, structured enterprise environment. The position requires a highly organized project leader with strong planning capabilities, deep familiarity with traditional project management methodologies, and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA with onsite work two to three days per week. Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management, planning teams, internal stakeholders, and line management. This role provides strategic project oversight, ensuring that timelines, resource needs, processes, and cost controls are clearly defined and executed. Responsibilities include:
- Organizing project teams, assigning responsibilities, developing project schedules, and identifying resource needs
- Monitoring and reporting on project status including cost, timing, and staffing
- Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards
- Identifying and resolving obstacles to keep projects on time and within budget
- Managing complex issues independently while escalating only the most advanced challenges
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Four years of related project management experience
- Expertise in Waterfall methodology
- Strong project planning abilities within structured methodologies
- Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA two to three days per week
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience managing projects in large, complex operational environments
- Prior experience using waterfall methodology
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
