Heavy-Duty Diesel Diagnostic Technician
About the role
We’re adding three full-time technicians in Marietta, GA to keep our fleet and equipment safe, compliant, and running strong. In this hands-on role, you’ll spend your days tackling complex electrical and hydraulic issues, reading schematics, and getting machines back to work.
A day in the life (Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
- Start with work orders, review technical manuals, and plan your approach.
- Diagnose issues using electrical and hydraulic schematics and your own tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems to manufacturer standards.
- Test equipment, verify performance, and document what you’ve done.
- Jump on emergency breakdowns and get equipment safely back online.
What you’ll bring
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics (very important).
- 2+ years of diesel engine repair experience (preferred).
- Proficiency across: Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair; Diesel Engine Systems; Brake & Suspension Systems; Preventive Maintenance & Inspection; Automotive Repair; Engine Repair; Automatic Transmission/Transaxle; Brakes; Electrical/Electronic Systems; Oil Changes.
- Familiarity with ASE Automobile and Light Truck Certification tests is a plus.
- Clean Driving Record Required; CDL driver’s license is a plus.
- Must have your own tools; welding experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
$24 – $35 per hour, full-time.
