Akkodis is seeking a Fiber Construction Inspector for a Contract job with a client in Boulevard Alpharetta, GA . This is a 100% remote role within the state of Georgia, requiring fieldwork and occasional remote work from home. Candidates must have experience in telecom construction inspection and be comfortable working in a dynamic, field-focused environment.

Rate Range: $32/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Fiber Construction Inspector job responsibilities include:

• Manage warehouse operations including inventory management, vendor outfitting, and cable inventory.

• Document fiber inventory and incident reports using Microsoft CRM.

• Provide on-site support during major outages or sensitive network events.

• Collaborate with internal teams to update handbooks and policies with current standards and best practices.

• Conduct strand mapping, make-ready rides, and post-construction rides with utility partners.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 3+ years of experience in telecom construction inspection.

• Strong construction background is highly desired.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Basic understanding of web application infrastructure and database technologies.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
