Senior Manager, React Engineering Lead

We are seeking a Senior Digital Engineering Lead (React) with 15+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale commercial web platforms. This role requires deep expertise in React and Contentful (CMS), along with a strong focus on performance optimization and modern frontend architecture. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of driving engineering excellence, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable digital solutions.

• Rate Range- $80-100/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of large-scale web platforms using React
• Drive frontend architecture decisions and ensure scalability and performance
• Work closely with CMS platforms, specifically Contentful, for content-driven applications
• Optimize application performance and ensure best practices across the codebase
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and modern frontend practices

Required Qualfiications:

Frontend / React Expertise

• 15+ years of overall experience with strong frontend engineering background
• Deep expertise in React.js (in-depth knowledge required)
• Strong understanding of React Fiber architecture
• Hands-on experience with React Suspense
• Advanced knowledge of React Hooks and state management internals
• Experience with useLayoutEffect and useInsertionEffect
• Strong experience in performance optimization for large-scale applications

CMS & Platform Experience

• Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS
• Experience building and scaling enterprise-level web platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive technical strategy and execution
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset

Work Requirements

• Must be local to Atlanta, GA
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week
