We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of front-of-house and kitchen staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness across all departments.
- Supervise shift management by coordinating schedules, monitoring service quality, and resolving customer concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting activities including cost control measures for food, labor, and supplies to meet financial targets.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled team aligned with our service standards and company values.
- Implement staff training programs focused on food production, customer service excellence, and safety procedures to foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics regularly and develop strategies for growth, efficiency, and enhanced guest experiences.
- Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, food presentation standards, and catering or banquet services when applicable.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a strong background in food service management.
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and operational oversight.
- Background in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable; banquet or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols, inventory control procedures, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource planning within the food industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality excellence.
