Lufasco’s niche is being nimble and deeply integrated with our clients’ operations ; especially valuable for manufacturers who desire streamlined procurement, reduced downtime, increased cash flow through drastic reduction of costly on-hand inventory and dramatically higher inventory turns of the same.

Lufasco is a partner that helps manage non-standard inventory as opposed to Commercial Of The Shelf (COTS) parts to OEM’s. The objective is not to replace traditional fastener suppliers’ VMI programs, but provide VMI and 3PL services uniquely focused on Engineered Specials.

What are Engineered Specials?

The term "Engineered Special" refers to a custom-designed product, component, assembly or kit that’s been engineered to meet a specific manufacturer’s unique requirements not covered by standard, off-the-shelf solutions. Every manufacturer employs a team of talented Engineers tasked with designing unique parts, whether machined castings, stampings, CNC machined, injection molded, complex fitting assemblies, etc.. Lufasco’s core competency is the sourcing and supply of these components and associated services.

• Develop and manage a book of business in the industrial and manufacturing sectors
• Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions managing our customers’ precision Engineered Specials
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production Management and Procurement teams to deliver on customer specifications
• Attend trade shows, network, and keep up with industry trends
• Maintain accurate records of sales and customer communications
• Assure customer satisfaction and meet periodically to assure expectations are exceeded
• Continuously strive to introduce additional products, services, efficiencies and product management
• 30%-40% travel, occasional overnight

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of successful sales face to face experience in manufacturing or industrial sales markets
• Strong technical knowledge of Engineered Specials or aptitude to learn
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a drive for exceeding targets
• Highly comfortable working with all personnel, from production line to upper management
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
