Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,790–$1,906 per week with guaranteed 40 hours. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Hospital-based oncology unit travel assignment; note that no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments in accordance with provider orders and chemotherapy certification.
- Monitor patients for response and adverse effects; perform frequent vital signs assessment and symptom checks.
- Manage IV therapies and venous access devices; ensure safe administration of all prescribed medications.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, potential side effects, safety practices, and when to seek help.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Promote safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical policies; respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification
- NIH Certification
- Chemotherapy certification and ability to administer chemotherapy
- No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital oncology unit
