Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ER Holding to join a fast-paced emergency care unit. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to stabilize critical patients, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a general emergency department (adult & geriatric patients)
- Perform triage using ESI protocols
- Monitor and manage critical patients
- Administer emergency medications and IV therapies
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Unit Highlights:
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Fast-paced unit with strong peer support (~3 RNs)
- Every other weekend required (~4 shifts per contract)
- Adult & geriatric patient population
Requirements
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience (Required | 5 years Preferred)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Experience in:
- General Emergency Department (Adult/Pedi)
- Cardiac monitoring & emergency response
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, and ventilator care
- Psychiatric and overdose patient care
- Certifications:
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
- Preferred:
- Epic charting experience
- Charge nurse experience
