Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

The board-certified plastic surgeons and staff at The Swan Center are committed to helping patients and strive to provide a positive patient experience, from the very first consult up to the final follow-up.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical practice in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role supports both clinical and administrative aspects of patient care, with a strong focus on pre-operative and post-operative services in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Screen and consult patients for surgery in collaboration with the surgeon

Review patient medical and surgical histories

Perform administrative nursing duties including patient phone calls, emails, anesthesia letters, and documentation of nurse visits

Assemble and prepare pre-operative charts and surgical documentation

Provide pre-operative care, including patient education, instructions, photographs, EKGs, and lab draws

Deliver post-operative care and education, including dressing and incision care, JP drain removals, suture removal, and post-op photographs

Initiate and follow up on required medical clearances

Assist with injections and injectable procedures as needed

Support daily clinic operations including room setup, stocking, laundry, instrument care and sterilization, and inventory management

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certification required

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment

Experience in plastic or cosmetic surgery preferred, but not required
