Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Location: Lyons, GA

Job Type: Fulltime

Salary: $13.50/hr

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Mandatory OT and Fridays if needed

Duties:

All rubbish in facility and on facility grounds are picked up and disposed of into trash receptacles. All trash receptacles are emptied, as they become full and are relined and available for facility use. Ensure regular cleaning and disinfecting of backrooms and restrooms. Comply with Company policies and safety procedures.

SPECIFIC TASKS:

1. Clean and sanitize processing equipment and processing facilities.

2. Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.

3. Ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations.

4. Wash and maintain buckets, containers, and the sanitary state of the Chemical Room.

5. Perform recycling and trash removal from production lines, trash pickup from grounds/plant, cardboard, and plastic baling according to specific job tasks.

6. Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, foamers, cleaning equipment and tools.

7. Be at the forefront of the plant housekeeping with duties such as cleaning break rooms, clean lobby, clean offices, clean labs, clean restrooms, clean workshops (other duties as assigned (cleaning parking lot, clean shipping docks, etc).

8. Lock out Tag out required equipment and document according to OSHA and plant policies and procedures.

9. Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process.

10. Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

11. Follow all company SSOPs.

12. Adhere to all company GMPs and Safety Policies.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent

2. Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience

3. Able to read, write and speak English

4. Able to perform labor duties when required

5. Able to lift 50lbs

6. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
