Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State RN License required Certifications: - BLS required - NIH preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratio of 1:5 - Proficiency in electronic charting systems Description: The position involves caring for adult to geriatric patients. Patient population includes individuals recovering from spine and neck surgeries, strokes, and general medical-surgical overflow. The daily average census is approximately 30 patients. Staff will work with various interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and nutrition services. Additional support includes rapid response teams and pharmacy services. Floating within the facility is required as necessary according to scope of practice. Travelers should be prepared to work major holidays as determined by the assignment period, with specific expectations outlined. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary for timely start. The scrub color for this position is navy blue. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed during the contract duration.
