We are currently seeking a highly organized, bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Specialist to join our Corporate Team in Smyrna/Atlanta, GA . This individual will support key human resources operations while ensuring the day-to-day office environment runs smoothly.

Position Overview:

As an HR Specialist , you will play a vital role in supporting both HR and administrative functions. You’ll collaborate closely with the HR department and executive leadership to provide seamless support across various office and employee needs

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Office Support:

• Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and document organization
• Manage scheduling, calendars, and appointments for leadership
• Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Greet and assist visitors; act as the front-facing point of contact
• Maintain and order office supplies; monitor inventory levels
• Handle incoming and redirect calls to appropriate departments
• Proofread internal documents and external communications for accuracy
• Maintain an organized office space and support overall team functionality
• process and maintain confidential employee information
• Conduct employement verifications and reference checks
• proofread and review legal/compliance documents for accuracy
• Input and manage HR data in internal systems
• Support and track compliance, tracking, and document filing

HR Support Functions:

• Assist employees with general questions, concerns, and HR-related inquiries
• Attend and take notes during unemployment hearings
• Complete employment verifications and respond to unemployment claims
• Administer field employee benefits, including enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment
• Prepare and submit required reports to Union representatives on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive personnel documents

Team Culture & Events:

• Help coordinate employee engagement events, such as birthday celebrations, office luncheons, and holiday decorations

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of HR administration or office-based experience (non-recruiting)
• Strong data entry and document review skills
• Experience with employment law documentation or compliance is preferred
• Must be 21+ years old
• Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• 1+ year of HR or administrative support experience preferred
• Bilingual and fluent in speaking and typing in English and Spanish is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters
• Adaptable, dependable, and team-oriented

Compensation:

$ 45- 50k , based on experience

Location:

Smyrna, GA / Atlanta, GA (In-Office Role)
