Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics in Brunswick, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, deliveries, and/or vehicle traffic to help support orderly site operations and document security-related events as needed.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or emergency responders when appropriate to help address issues, relay information, and support emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
