Intake/Admissions Nurse

Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a full-time RN or Clinical Therapist in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.

• Responding expeditiously to patient referrals
• Review of patient records
• Processing patient admissions
• Patient assessments
• Obtaining admission approvals

This position's hours will be 4pm-4am with a 3/4 schedule .

• Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred
• Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances
• Knowledge of patient level of care requirements
• Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing) as a Registered Nurse/RN
• BLS/CPR Certified
