GENERAL OVERVIEW:
As the Barista you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks to our guests.

Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure an excellent guest experience, maintain a clean and organized work area, and provide outstanding customer service.

We are working with a popular coffee brand to represent them and our products in the Atlanta market.

ABOUT YOU:
*You have a passion for food and coffee and possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

*A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.

*Hotel Operational experience is a plus..

*You excel in both verbal and written communication.

*You are adaptable and willing to meet the demands of a full-time operation.

Requirements/Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty beverages according to standard recipes and specialty recipes you have created.

*Ensure that coffee and espresso machines are functioning properly and maintained regularly.

*Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, and provide personalized recommendations when necessary.

*Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee station, dining area, and utensils.

*Assist in maintaining the restaurant’s atmosphere by keeping the space clean, inviting, and conducive to a pleasant dining experience.

*Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.

*Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols.

*Attend training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends and techniques.

*Demonstrate excellent customer service, resolve any customer complaints, and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.

*Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and coffee beans.

*Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong
commitment to customer satisfaction.

*Basic math skills for handling and processing transactions.

*Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

*Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

*Must possess a Food Handler Safety Training Card
