Bartender
Holeman + Finch Public House is a modern interpretation of the classic public house, located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. We strive to cook good food, pour honest drinks, and serve our community with genuine warmth.
We are looking for an experienced, curious, and engaging Bartender to join our team. The right person understands that tending bar is both a craft and an act of hospitality. It requires precision and speed, but also awareness, generosity, and pride in creating a place where people feel welcome.
The Role
As a Bartender, you will prepare thoughtful, well-balanced drinks; care for the bar and the products behind it; support the entire service team; and create meaningful experiences for our guests.
You should take pride in the fundamentals of the craft—from measuring accurately and handling ingredients properly to maintaining clean tools, polished glassware, and an organized station. You will continue developing your knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, wine, food, and the stories behind what we serve.
Great bartending is about more than what is in the glass. It means reading the room, anticipating a guest’s needs, remembering the details, and knowing when to offer guidance or simply provide attentive, unobtrusive service. It also means recognizing that the bar is part of a larger team. You will communicate clearly, stay aware of the needs of the dining room, and step in wherever your support can help create a better service.
What You’ll Do
Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality, consideration, and respect.
Prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages consistently, accurately, and efficiently.
Learn and faithfully execute the recipes, techniques, and standards behind our beverage program.
Help guests navigate our cocktail, spirits, beer, wine, and food menus with confidence and without pretension.
Maintain working knowledge of ingredients, producers, preparation methods, allergens, and responsible alcohol service.
Set up and maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar throughout service.
Taste thoughtfully, use products responsibly, and minimize waste.
Anticipate needs and remain composed, efficient, and gracious during busy services.
Communicate clearly with fellow bartenders, servers, hosts, support staff, managers, and the culinary team.
Support opening, closing, restocking, prep, cleaning, and other shared responsibilities.
Protect the safety and well-being of our guests through responsible alcohol service.
Contribute to a workplace rooted in passion, curiosity, inclusion, service, and leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Two or more years of relevant bartending experience.
Genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage.
A strong foundation in classic cocktails and bartending techniques.
Curiosity and a desire to continue learning.
The ability to work with urgency, accuracy, and resilience.
Clear, respectful communication and a team-focused mindset.
Food-safety knowledge and a commitment to cleanliness.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
