About the Role:
Join Jds Landscaping & Irrigation LLC as a Sod Installation Crew Leader and take charge of transforming outdoor spaces in Midway, GA! In this exciting role, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering top-notch sod installation services, ensuring customer satisfaction and beautiful landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sod installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and train crew members on best practices and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Prepare and grade soil for optimal sod placement.
- Manage inventory and ensure all materials are available for each job.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in landscaping or sod installation, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of sod types, soil preparation, and installation techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
